How Pilates work with Esogetics: My passion is to uncover the imprints of fear, stress, and trauma that may have become embedded in the body-mind and continue to influence how a person functions, adapts, and experiences their health today. These imprints can come from many places: early relationships with a mother or father, divorce and moves, cruel words from a teacher, a bully on the elementary-school playground, an experience of humiliation or rejection, loss, illness, or other moments the conscious mind may have long since filed away while the body continued to carry the pattern. In Chinese Medicine, these are called insults to the bodymind. In other systems, they are called conditioning. Basically they are external interferences that affects a person's healthy individuation process. Within our sessions together, we may also explore prenatal influences, ancestral patterns, and—when relevant to the individual and their belief system—Bardo or pre-existence patterns.

According to Dr Riedwig, Peter Mandel and others, early traumas inclusive of attachment issues, lack of empathic mirroring, devastating life events, may wreak havoc on the hormonal system. Not only on the psychological level as learned helplessness or self defeating thinking patterns, but also on the tissue level presenting as focal intoxications, lymphatic stagnation, inflammation, auto-immune diseases and crystallizations of tissue leading to more severe disease states.

To begin that discovery process, I draw from movement, Esogetic Aculight, brain induction techniques, Bodytalk, Gene Keys, and Human Design. But we don’t begin by digging into the story. We begin by stabilizing the person and asking a much simpler question: Where is the system struggling to cope right now? Through a series of proprietary, primarily non-verbal assessments, I gather information directly from the body without immediately engaging the conscious mind or asking someone to explain why they feel the way they do. In the background, I also look at natal placements as another lens for understanding the patterns and predispositions present at the time of birth.

Movement gives us another piece of the picture: where the fascia feels restricted, where joints have lost freedom, how posture has adapted, and where the body may be compensating. We work gently with those limitations through Pilates and somatic movement. Once the person’s system is more stable and has greater bandwidth, the work can deepen. Locked movement patterns carry stories of burden, and once realigned and released we help it clear out of the lymphatic system using Esogetics. We can address the current symptom picture to support relief while simultaneously exploring older conflicts and patterns that may still be influencing the system.

The intention is not to decide intellectually which event “caused” what is happening now. Most of this work is non-verbal. It is to follow the threads. Some may lead to childhood. Others may lead to relationships, environment, inherited family patterns, prenatal experience, or the more subtle frameworks a person chooses to explore. We don’t force a story onto the body. We listen for what the body has been carrying. From there, the work is about helping the system regain capacity, restoring cellular health, creating relief where possible, and going deeper when the person—and the body—are ready. The goal is EMBODIED improvement.
